The War is about the war within. Fighting your personal darkness and never giving up. Specifically, never giving up on yourself. The first verse describes the making of a sword, inspired by the opening sequence of the original "Conan the Barbarian" Film. The second verse describes the fight with the demon that is "so close" because he is your own dark thoughts that block you from living a free and joyous life. The fight is exhausting and unending, but never let the darkness win, never be denied.
